Wasteland 2 timeline

Chapter 1

PARTY 1
-Party is recruited by Grezentheys Leon and Sais Nuraxe (Altfelter) in order to travel across the ocean to the Dark Continent.
- Assaulted by the MEE, the party finds themselves divided; Metis and Dark Heart end up jailed in the town of Dartpond
- Aided in escape by a blond woman, the two break out of jail and intend to pursue their party into the hills.
- The town comes under attack by a “Walker” construct.
- Metis and Dark Heart stay and aid the townsfolk with the battle.

PARTY 2
- After becoming separated from Metis and Darkheart, the party passes though an MEE checkpoint.
- The party stumbles upon the same town as both their teammates, but take a different path when the “Walker” proves too much of a challenge.
- Leon and Sais watch from afar, gauging the abilities of their investments.
- Party 2 takes refuge in a large ammunition/storage garage.
- After assessing that there is another path out of the garage, the party heads underground.
- The group stumbles onto the steps of Endriel in the underground.
- After passing through an underground facility much like a school/orientation center, the party finds themselves at underground coordinates perfectly suited for an assault on the surface
- Party 2 heads up through the underground with the aid of an electrical ‘spirit’ and join the fray to defend the town.
- Sais Nuraxe shows up and lends them aid in the fight, claiming " I haven’t fought one of these for a long time."
- Grezentehys Leon and his prodigy show up outside of the town on the opposite side.

JOINED
- The party attempts to retake Dartpond, but the constructs ravages are too great, the party flees the town and heads underground once more.
- Underground, the party finds aid in the city of New Endriel, run by Tiresius Harper.
- The party is given free reign of the underground citadel, leading to their meeting with Sanders, who only offers the unnerving phrase “I can’t control Archons…well, not yet anyways.”
- The group is then dispatched by Sanders to contact a woman named Ohta, who seems to have a latent connection to the Archon cult.
- After a brief, disturbing meeting with Lady Ohta and her manservant-dwarf, Todd, the party returns the goods requested to Sanders.
- Sanders rewards them with access to powerful armaments, of the kind used by Altfelter’s foes.
- Tiresius Harper requests audience with the party at the behest of the blond woman responsible for freeing Metis and Darkheart; whose name is revealed to be Elaina Temblar.
- Tiresius informs the party that this is the second-to-last Archon stronghold in the entire Wasteland, the only other being located somewhere in the underground caverns known collectively as ‘the underworld.’
- Tiresius sends the party through Archon trials using an archaic machine.
- The party find themselves in an ancient Colosseum, facing down a massive nest of wurms.
- Eventually defeating the wurms entirely, the party finds an ancient mechanism that seems to be for an elevator of sorts. Upon its use, the floor gives way beneath them and they fall into a massive chasm.
- First contact with ‘The Voice’
- Coming to, the party finds themselves facing a meteorum tank, built like a land spider, piloted by the forces of The Tolaris Emperial Army.
- After a massive fight, involving wurms and the Tolaris might, Sais Nuraxe is killed, leading Kinsley to state in a near seizure, “Archon blood on the sands.” and “They kill Archons.”
- Kinsley goes berserk and heavily aids in destroying the tank.
- The party takes leave of the battlefield, hurting and sore from the trials.
- Kinsley states he senses something called ‘Processors’ shortly before being beheaded by a fusion grenade.
- The Processors attack en-masse.
- After defeating the Processor battle group, the party is taken aback to realize that the Tolaris Army is swarming the underground.
- Coming into contact with a huge flank of the Tolaris Army, the party finds themselves fighting side-by-side with Archons trained by Elaina and Tiresius.
- The Tolaris wipe out most of the Endrelian Troops, leaving the party in disrepair and near death.
- Horns sound and Tiresius Harper leads the entirety of New Endriel against the Tolaris Forces, whom ‘The Voice’ is revealed to be in command of.
- The Tolaris are defeated, Tiresius leads a much depleted force back to New Endriel.
- Wounded from battle, Tiresius allows Elaina to train the party members in combat techniques.
- Eventually bringing the party to his chambers carved into a rock face off the edge of Endriel, he reveals the true aim of Grezentheys Leon; to achieve the rebirth of the Archon order, which Tiresius cautions against.
- Sais’s death is mourned in the traditional way, his guns burned alongside the remnants of his body.
- During the lighting of the pyre to the fallen Archons, it is discovered that the Tolaris are moving on New Endriel in 100,000 man force.
- Above, the MEE go to war with the ‘Sand Archons’ ;defenders of Endriel’s secret location.
- The party divides once more to meet the new threats.
- Party 1 heads to the surface, while Party 2 heads towards the ruins of an old city on the outskirts of Endriel.
